Haldi ki Jai Ho!!

HALDI is the my fav color and material... close to my heart..

smell it for a while.. though a little pungent.. u will like it as it works on the nose :)

cleaning the wind pipe as it goes to reach the brain's point.

For ladies.. more than diamonds.. haldi IS our best friend.

During Shravanam... as its the month of rains... haldi is there both for body application and for the puja.

Apply it to the threshold of the house... it guards against the insects

Apply it on ur face... here comes the cheapest and the best natural cosmetic ingredient

Apply it on your feet... it guards against the bacterial growth on the feet and makes them smooth and healthy

Apply it all over ur body.. the pungent smells of sweat and skin problems vanishhhhh

Mix it in water and bathe with it.. u will feel the freshest!

Now gods tooo love it... we make pasupu ganapati.. we make pasupu gowri murthy during every important ocassion and worship them.

Always guarding us against the evils.. sprinkle haldi water in the four corners of the house with betle leaf or with hand... uttering the mantra "apavitro pavitrobhawa" we are driving away the negative powers from our dwelling.

Without HALDI no indian household worship is complete! the list is endless.. there is a possibility that i failed to mention some.. but these r the ones i practice regularly...
